Behavioral and Lifestyle Medicine Groups
Borinquen Medical Centers provide a comprehensive range of behavioral health support groups to our culturally diverse community in the Miami metropolitan area.
HEADS Up Life Skills Group
The group provides a nonjudgmental setting for young adults to learn skills such as goal setting, effective communication, managing stress, decision making, money managing, and building relationships. The group will also be incorporating information on HIV prevention, substance use prevention, and PrEP education.

STOPP
(Substance Use Group)
The group provides a nonjudgmental setting for participants to learn about the signs and symptoms of problematic substance use and the mental health symptoms that accompany it. Participants will learn relapse prevention skills, positive coping and interpersonal skills, and will receive support and encouragement throughout their recovery.
Adults ages 18 and over who are actively using substances or have a history of substance use
El grupo proporciona un entorno sin prejuicios para que los participantes aprendan sobre los signos y síntomas del uso problemático de sustancias y los síntomas de salud mental que lo acompañan. Los participantes aprenderán habilidades de prevención de recaídas, afrontamiento positivo, habilidades interpersonales, y recibirán apoyo y aliento a lo largo de su recuperación.

Golden Creations Art Club
(Art Support Group)
The group provides a nonjudgmental setting for adults ages 18 and over seeking a supportive and creative outlet. Participants will participate in art projects throughout the year and engage in group discussions relating to planning, self-esteem, positive support systems, mindfulness, and others.
El grupo ofrece un espacio libre de juicios para adultos de 18 años en adelante que buscan una salida creativa y de apoyo. Ryan White Lifestyle Medicine
Focuses on teaching patients about the 6 pillars of Lifestyle Medicine through interactive lessons including a BH component as well as fun simple food demos including opportunities to get labs done and prescription refills.
